CAV Acceptance using Virtual Reality

The following questions are based on the questionnaire designed for the AI4CCAM Use Case 3 in which a number of participants experienced different interactions with CAV environment using Virtual Reality. Each question in Section 2 contains a link to a video showing what the participants could see in each scenario.

For each statement, please choose how much you agree using the following scale:
1 = Strongly Disagree | 2 = Disagree | 3 = Neutral | 4 = Agree | 5 = Strongly Agree

You will take part in a virtual reality space that explores how VRUs such as people, cyclists, kickscooter rider, and wheelchair users, feel about CAVs. CAVs are vehicles that can drive themselves and communicate with their surroundings, including other vehicles, road infrastructure, and people. This short questionnaire asks about your trust, comfort, and impressions of the situations you will see.
